About
Cloudle was born on a simple car ride back from the Oregon Coast. Jordan and Lauren found themselves gazing up at the puffy clouds overhead, describing all sorts of shapes and characters that appeared in the sky. Yet, it was nearly impossible to convey what they saw—until they snapped photos and pointed out where the different cloud elements formed the images in their minds. At that moment, the concept of Cloudle—a playful mashup of “cloud” and “doodle”—came to life.
Inside this book, you’ll be guided to view clouds from all angles, searching for the pictures your imagination conjures up. Turn the pages sideways or upside down; take your time and let your creative mind wander. There’s no right or wrong way to see an image in a cloud. It’s a timeless practice—one that kids naturally embrace, lying on their backs and spotting animals, faces, and fantasy creatures in the sky—yet grown-ups often forget how freeing it can be to daydream with the clouds simply.
We invite you to rediscover that inner childlike wonder and bring it to life on the page. Draw directly over each cloud, following the lines you see or adding new ones that spark your creativity. Let your imagination roam as you use nature itself as your canvas. In the world of Cloudle, every shape, every doodle, and every playful interpretation is valid. So grab your pencils, flip the pages around, and allow the clouds to guide you on a creative adventure.
We hope you enjoy,
Jordan and Lauren Carter
